هشت سال دفاع مقدس ما صرفاً یک امتداد زمانی و فقط یک برهه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ی زمانی نیست؛ گنجینه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ی عظیمی است که تا مدتهای طولانی ملت ما میتواند از آن استفاده کند، آن را استخراج کند و مصرف کند و سرمایه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌گذاری کند.

هفته دفاع مقدس یادآور افتخارات، شهامت ها ، رشادت ها و شهادت ها است . یادآور مردانی که مردانگی آفریدند و یاد و خاطره ی آن بزرگ مردان را از یاد نمی بریم.
دوران هشت سال دفاع مقدس یکی از سرنوشت ساز ترین مقاطع انقلاب اسلامی است که ملت رشید ایران با بصیرت ، شناخت و آگاهی در آن حضور یافت و با ایثار و از خودگذشتگی افتخاری را رقم زد که از آن به عنوان دفاع مقدس یاد شد ، دفاعی که از آرمان های اسلام ناب محمدی (ص) صورت گرفت.
جنگ تحمیلی واقعه ای عظیم در تاریخ معاصر کشور بود که در آن ارزش و جایگاه والای ایرانیان در دفاع از شرف، ناموس و اعتقادات شان در جهان به اثبات رسید و دنیا به این واقعیت معترف شد که ایران آغازگر جنگ نبوده و خاک ما مورد تعرض بیگانگان قرار گرفته است.
ضمن گرامیداشت یاد و خاطره ایثار و از خودگذشتگی شهدای انقلاب اسلامی ، هشت سال دفاع مقدس ، جانبازان ،عزیز آزادگان ، ایثارگران و خانواده معظم شهدا ، آغاز هفته دفاع مقدس را تبریک عرض نموده و از خداوند منان عزت و اقتدار نظام مقدس جمهوری اسلامی زیر سایه توجهات حضرت ولی عصر(عج) و هدایت های رهبر معظم انقلاب خواستاریم و بر ایستادگی خود پای ارمان های ارزشمند انقلاب اسلامی و حمایت از ولایت فقیه زمان حضرت ایت ا… خامنه ای تاکید می ورزیم .
